The Organization of the Event

The event is organized entirely by volunteers and made possible by the enormous and generous support of the community through sponosorships, in-kind donations and cash donations through our Friends of Harris Hill.

The Organizing Committee

This all-volunteer group is comprised of people who have a passion for seeing this extraordinary tradition continue. Our committee includes former jumpers, coaches, specialists in hill maintenance and grooming, and people who have skills in professional sports announcing, marketing and operations management.

Brattleboro Outing Club

Formerly organized and run by a committee of the Brattleboro Outing Club, the Harris Hill Ski Jump Committee formed its own non-profit organization in 2003 with an expanded mission that includes renovating the hill to comply with FIS (International Federation of Skiing) standards which will qualify Harris Hill to host internationally-sanctioned events.

Harris Hill continues its association with the Brattleboro Outing Club, which owns the ski jump hill. Together, the two groups share a rich, 85-year history of ski jumping in Brattleboro.
